The BLACKSMITH GUILD OF CENTRAL MARYLAND (BGCM) was founded in 1986 and incorporated in 1995. BGCM is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit educational corporation.

It is dedicated to preserving and promoting the art and craft of hand forging iron. The Guild meets monthly to share blacksmithing information and techniques at the Carroll County Farm Museum, 500 South Center St, Wetminster, MD.
