Oily Rags

Oily rags lying around the shop can be a fire hazarad all by themselves. They can be subject to spontaneous combustion. This is especially true of rags with linseed oil on them.

If you have oily rags around your shop, they should be stored in an airtight metal container. Otherwise dispose of them as soon as you are done with them.
