NY Pipe Jig

While at the Gichner Hammer-In, January 2006, Bill Banker of New York showed a different type of bending jig. Instead of the usual piece of pipe welded to a piece of angle iron, he had a short piece of pipe welded to a piece of 3/8” x 1”. I made up one of these to give this style a try. Then I took his idea one step further and welded a second section of round stock to the other end. This way, I have 2 different size bends on one tool See Fig. 1.
