Insurance

If you are demonstrating and the event the you are demoing for is not covering you for accidents under their insurance, you are on your own. You really need to look into getting your own event insurance. If you are a member of Abana? (Artisan - Blacksmith Association of North America), this is fairly easy. Abana has a deal with The Hartford insurance company for insurance through Industrial Coverage Corp.

ABANA Artist's & Blacksmith's Assoc. of North America Hartford offers these important coverages designed to give you the valuable protection you need as a business owner, part-timer, hobbyist, or chapter through the Artist's & Blacksmith's Assoc. of North America (ABANA).

Commercial property

You've invested a great deal in building your business, so it's important that you make sure it's properly protected against loss. With commercial property coverage, your stock, buildings and their contents are all protected from fire, lightning, vandalism and other perils. You even have the option of selecting an "all risk" coverage that provides protection from a broader range of perils.

Commercial liability

Today's liberal court decisions and sky-high jury monetary awards make liability protection essential. Every business needs this type of protection - your agent can help you decide how much coverage is right for you. Included is products liability coverage along with incidental design services.

Commercial auto

Accidents, unfortunately do happen. Protect your vehicles from collision damage under this business insurance package. Liability for bodily injury and property damage is also included.

Worker's compensation

When an employee is injured on the job, everyone loses. Your business insurance program provides you with standard worker's compensation as well as employer's mandatory liability coverage, so you and your employees are protected.

Business interruption

If a fire or other covered peril forces you to close your doors, this valuable coverage will help compensate you for the money your business would have earned.

Commercial crime

Nobody likes to think of it, but your business could be the victim of a crime. With this coverage you business property is protected against burglary, robbery and theft.
