Guillotine Fullers

Two examples of guillotine fullers.

I use this fuller when necking down pipe.

Both fullers shown here are made with no welding, part are bolted on. Often this style of fuller will have a number of holes in the upper section of the verticle member. That way you can adjust the hight of the top fullering bar for different thickness of stock.
Both fullers are made from A36 steel. There has been no problem with the edges that are driven into the hot steel. However, the area where the hammer strikes does mushroom and needs to be dressed periodically. (You can see some of that mushrooming in the upper picture.)
The hardy stems are bolted on, so that I can interchange 7/8" and 1" hardy stems depending on which anvil I am using.
